In Aimbase prospect data represents unique individuals that have shown interest in your product, or brand. When lead information is captured by Aimbase, a prospect is created- multiple leads roll up to a unique prospect. For instance, if an individual uses the same email, or phone number, when submitting their information on two or more forms, two leads will be created and a unique prospect record. The best distinction between prospect and lead, is that prospect is a person and a lead is any action the prospect takes.
When there are multiple leads tied to a unique prospect, the prospect fields will be display the values that were submitted by the last lead.
Continuing communications with prospects is important since they have expressed interest in your product or brand. To continue the communication with prospect, we suggest the following:
- Nurture prospects through a series of automated email communication.
- Targeted email campaigns based on prospect data fields that are collected- last lead product field, location, etc.

Over time if there is no engagement, the prospect score will depreciate.

Programs will be flagged as either Active (if they are ongoing) or Completed (if the customer has already exited the program). On the right-hand side, you will see Starting and (if applicable) Ending dates of the program.
The registration or lead that was responsible for entering the customer into the nurture program is visible as a hyperlink directly under the program name. Clicking this link will take you to that respective registration or lead details page.

FAQs
What is a prospect in Aimbase?
In Aimbase, a prospect represents a unique individual who has shown interest in your brand or products. When someone submits their information, Aimbase creates a lead, and that lead is associated with a prospect record. Multiple leads can roll up to a single prospect if the same person submits more than one inquiry.
What is the difference between a lead and a prospect?
A prospect is the person, while a lead is the action that person takes—such as submitting a form or requesting information. If a prospect submits multiple forms using the same email address or phone number, Aimbase creates multiple leads that all tie back to one prospect record.
Why does prospect information sometimes change?
When multiple leads are associated with a single prospect, the prospect record displays the values from the most recent lead submission. This ensures the prospect profile reflects the latest information the individual provided.
How can I access a prospect record?
Prospect records can be accessed in several ways:
- By selecting a prospect’s name from the Lead Details page
- Through links within the prospect timeline
- By navigating to the Customer area and selecting Prospects
Each method leads to the same prospect detail view.
What information is available on the prospect detail page?
The prospect detail page includes multiple sections, commonly:
- Details: Captured prospect data such as contact information
- Timeline: A consolidated view of the prospect’s activity, including leads, emails, and nurtures
-
Schedule and Score tabs (when applicable)
These sections provide context into how the prospect has interacted with your brand over time.
What actions can be taken on a prospect record?
From the prospect detail page, users may:
- Edit certain prospect fields (such as contact information)
- Print or generate a PDF version of the record
- Update subscriber status for brand communications
- Add activity entries to document interactions when applicable
What is the prospect timeline used for?
The timeline provides a single, consolidated view of all known prospect activity. This can include lead submissions, autoresponder sends, nurture emails, web activity, and scheduled communications, helping teams better understand prospect behavior and engagement.
Why is nurturing prospects important?
Prospects have already shown interest in your product or brand. Continuing communication through nurturing helps keep your brand top‑of‑mind and supports the prospect’s journey from initial interest toward a purchase decision.
Does every prospect automatically receive nurture emails?
Prospects may be entered into nurture programs based on how leads are configured and how nurture programs are triggered in Aimbase. Participation depends on program setup and subscriber status.
